Room prices are good, relative to room quality. Conclusion :: Given its location, The Flamingo is very good for Strip focused tourism. They contract out.) I dislike the layout of this parking structure. (By the way, The Flamingo does not manage their parking garage. During my stay, the front desk was never able to get my key to work with the garage gates. Your room key is supposed to activate the gate. Parking :: You pay a daily fee for self-parking. They thanked me for sharing, but they seemed otherwise unconcerned. An hour later, when I returned to my car to collect more luggage, I observed that same individuals there. When I parked in the parking structure, I observed what I though was unusual activity. (Funny: If you turned the diverter, water shoots out of the valve stems!) Security :: There's a saying: If you see something, say something. In the shower, they installed the type of valve set you would use if there were still a bathtub spout. For example, in the bathroom, there were ceramic tiles that had chipped surfaces or broken corners-but the contractor still installed them. But I was surprised how many "flaws" there were in my room's remodel. Maybe when you're remodeling that many rooms, you cut corners. Also, The Flamingo has 3,460 guest rooms. I thought institutional furniture would wear better. I mentioned that the furniture was "new(er)", so I was surprised that the sofa cushions were showing signs of "crushing".

The room had a refrigerator, and it was clean and free of odors. The surfaces didn't have nicks or scratches. The towels were clean, but based on condition you could tell when individual specimens were put into use. Addressing the basics: The carpet was clean. The square footage is more than that in a standard room. Per reservation, my room was a "mini suite". Apparently, all of the rooms have been converted. The Room :: During my last stay, The Flamingo was in the process of remodeling guest rooms. Regardless, at The Flamingo, I observed that even when there were open kiosks, guest preferred to work with a live receptionist. I wonder why one property has been able to fully implement use of the kiosks, and the other hasn't. This is interesting because I was able to both check-in and out using the kiosks at Harrah's. At The Flamingo, I have never been able to successfully check-in without human intervention.

Registration :: Management is trying to transition to usage of automated kiosks for guest check-in/out. The project to renovate rooms must be complete as all the rooms offered online are the "new" design. Keeping track of my reservation was easy, as I had the Caesar's app on my mobile device. I booked my room on the Caesars*com website (not a travel aggregator). Booking :: I am a "Caesars Rewards" member. I think its ok to do so, as both properties are operated by Caesar's Entertainment. But I will occasionally make reference to Harrah's. I am updating my previous review of The Flamingo. But I also stayed at "Harrah's Las Vegas" as well. I was a guest at "The Flamingo Las Vegas Resort & Casino".
